How to join HinokamiMC

HinokamiMC is a Demon Slayer Minecraft server for Java and Bedrock. No mods, no launcher. Java address: play.hinokamimc.com.

Java Edition

1. Open Minecraft: Java Edition on the current release.
2. Click Multiplayer, then Add Server.
3. Put HinokamiMC as the name and paste the address: play.hinokamimc.comCopy
4. Click Done, select HinokamiMC and click Join Server. Accept the resource pack when asked.

Bedrock Edition

1. Open Minecraft on your phone, tablet or Windows PC.
2. Go to Play, then the Servers tab, and scroll to Add Server.
3. Server name HinokamiMC, server address hinokamimc.com, port 25574.
4. Save, then tap the server to join.

Consoles cannot add custom servers on their own. Ask in the Discord for the current console method.

Your first night

New players start as initiates. Finish the opening trial, then choose your side: join the Corps and pick one of the five core breathing styles, or accept the blood and become a demon. Slayers get a Kasugai Crow that brings missions. Demons come out after dark, and the sun is not kind to them.

Is there a Demon Slayer Minecraft server on Bedrock?

Yes. HinokamiMC runs on Java and Bedrock at the same time, and both editions play in the same world. Java players use play.hinokamimc.com. Bedrock players use hinokamimc.com with port 25574.

Do I need mods to play?

No. HinokamiMC is a plugin server, so you join with the normal Minecraft client. On Java you are asked to accept a resource pack when you join. Accept it so blades, forms and demons show their custom models.

What version of Minecraft do I need?

On Java, use the current release of Minecraft. On Bedrock, any phone, tablet or Windows device on the current version works.

Can I play as a demon?

Yes. After the opening trial you choose between joining the Demon Slayer Corps and accepting the blood. Demons are strong at night and have to stay out of the sun.

Which breathing styles are there?

Twelve to learn, plus Sun Breathing. Water, Flame, Thunder, Wind and Stone are the core styles you pick from when you join the Corps. Mist, Beast, Flower, Serpent, Insect, Love and Sound unlock as you rank up. Sun Breathing (Hinokami Kagura) is the legendary style, and Moon Breathing is for demons only.

Is HinokamiMC free to play?

Yes. Joining and playing costs nothing, and breathing styles are earned in game.

Can Java and Bedrock players play together?

Yes. It is one server and one world. Missions, night hunts and PvP all mix both editions.
